Yours for the paltry sum of $70,000.

When did the prices on these skyrocket?

Still, she looks gorgeous. I can’t say I wouldn’t be tempted if I had the money.

There’s one just sitting near my house, same color scheme. Have at it!

If I could get the money, I would be all over that machine.

Beautiful as it may be, at that price point I’d probably prefer a F355, maintenance be damned.

That’s what would hold me up on the F355, the maintenance. Otherwise, good point.

But gated manual!

A 911SC or 964 would be tempting too, but then again, those prices are ridiculously inflated as well.

I think they’ve always been high for a car with mileage like that, the problem is the driven ones with like 136k aren’t much cheaper anymore.

Agreed. I think the days of the $30k NSX are over, unfortunately.

E46 M3 though. Not quite the same caliber but mainly because it never should have been price wise, and S2000. Still get your pick of the litter for $30k and 5 years from now we'll all be saying the same thing.

True enough, but whenever I get to that price point, then I start looking at classic muscle cars as well.

Crackpipe. You can buy a more practical 996 with similar performance for $50k less, leaving you plenty of cash to blow the motor 5 times. :D :) :| :(

That’s what bugs me about the prices on NSXs of late, Whilst I would be strongly tempted to go for the NSX, I’d also be tempted to go for, oh, I don’t know...a new Cayman, I’d be close to the price for a new M4, a Lotus Esprit in NICE shape, and on and on. Love the NSX though.

https://columbia.craigslist.org/ctd/5741561708… 78k for 49.5k$. 2001 is the last year before the NA2 facelift; you get the bigger motor and the 6-speed, IIRC.

The “Equipment/features” on that ad made me chuckle - it looks more like they’re trying to sell a 2001 Acura TL from the description.

That reminds me, someone back in 2010 or so was trying to brag about the engine in their TL. They proudly informed me that the engine in their TL was the same engine as what was in the NSX ... I simply smiled, nodded my head, and let the conversation end.
